Dank nochmals verbessertem HF-Layout mit impedanzberechneter Platine, konnten wir mit einer RADEON 2600 70m (50m+20m) von unserem Kabel bei 165 MHz erfolgreich testen.
Der DVIFIX ist damit der leistungsfähigste DVI/HDMI EQ am Markt.

Beschreibung

Der Ärger mit PCs und schlecht programmierten Grafikkartentreiber hat ein Ende. Der neue DVIFIX löst eine Vielzahl von Problemen mit der automatischen Erkennung der HDMI und DVI Schnittstelle.
Das Gerät simuliert die EDID Information eines HDMI/DVI Displays.
Das Gerät hat 2 numerische Anzeigen und unterstützt bis zu 11 vorprogrammierte und editierbare Kombinationen aus Videoauflösung und Audio EDID. Die Auswahl erfolgt durch Tipptasten.
Ein RS-232 Anschluss dient zum fernsteuerten Abruf der gespeicherten EDIDs und zum Firmware Update.
Das Gerät gibt auf der RS-232 Schnittstelle während der Programmierung den Status in Klartext aus, so dass ein PC mit Terminalprogramm die Bedienung vereinfach.
Der eingebaute Hochleistungsequalizer kann bis zu 60m unserer DVI Kabel entzerren (40dB), und das bei UXGA oder 1080p.

Umschaltung:

Grundsätzlich ist die Umschaltung von verschiedenen Displays an einem Computer oder HD Quelle mit HDMI Schnittstelle nicht so einfach möglich, da während des Umschaltvorgangs der EDID Informationsautausch unterbrochen wird, und so der HDMI/DVI Ausgang der Quelle deaktiviert wird. Zur Reaktivierung muss der PC oder Player neu gebootet werden - ein unzumutbarer Zustand.
Der DVIFIX wird am Ausgang der Quelle vor dem Umschalter angeschlossen, und erzeugt eine einstellbare EDID Information, so dass die Quelle vom Umschaltvorgang keine Kenntnis hat.
Umschaltvorgänge sind deutlich schneller und ohne Bildstörungen.

Allgemein:

Der DVIFIX hat 10 editierbare Presets für EDID Informationen und verfügt über 60 Video und  PC Auflösungen. Speicher für mehr Presets und zukünfitige Auflösungen ist vorhanden.
Die Presets können bequem über Tipptasten eingestellt werden und ermöglichen auch eine Änderung on the fly.
Preset 00 leitet EDID Information von Quelle zum Display durch.
Preset 11 kann ein beliebiges Display EDID lernen und speichern und der Quelle zur Verfügung stellen.
Obwohl das Gerät DVI Buchsen hat ist voll zu HDMI 1.3 kompatibel.

Wir haben ein Zusatzgerät für den DVIFIX entwickelt, der deutlich günstiger ist  und für Festinstallation ohne Bedienelemente und ohne HDCP Kompatiblität für ein einziges SingleEDID programmierbar ist.

Description

The SPATZ DVIFIX is a HDMI/DVI EDID simulator that provides 11 ecustomizable display EDID's and emulates the selected EDID to the attached PC computer or HD source. The DVIFIX manipulates the HDMI/DVI source ( PC computer,Laptop, HDDVD, BlueRay) emulating a HDMI/DVI display (LCD monitor or projector) for continuous video output, even if the attached display is disconnected or powered down.
The EDID presets allow the user to set up any HDMI/DVI output resolution, regardless of the used projector or monitor.
The unit has push buttons and a numeric display for selection of the stored EDIDs.
The RS-232 port allows remote preset selection, Firmware updates and can output the current configuration to a terminal programm.
With an optional PC attached you can read the adjustments in real text on your computer screen.
The DVIFIX has a built in 40 db compensation for cable runs up to 60m with UXGA or 1080p resolutions.

SWITCHING :

DVIFIX is a very handy tool if you want to switch displays without loosing the HDMI/DVI signal from the source. Most computers will deactivate the DVI output when the monitors EDID is not present and HDMI sources can be forced in a desired format.
Especially with MATRICES and Switchers we recommend the DVIFIX for every soure to increase switching time and have reliable and consistent system performance.

EDID emulation:

Most HDMI or DVI sources are reading the EDID of the attaced display and then limit the selectable output resolutions of the graphic card.
The DVIFIX allows on the fly change of the EDID creating the information that is necessary for your application.

GENERAL:

The EDID memories 01 to 11 are factory preset, more memories are available for learning from any display.
Presets 01-10 may be edited by the user, including video, audio, color space, audio bit depth and number of audio channels.
Memory 00 is passing the connected displays EDID information.
Memory 11 can learn any displays EDID, store it and pass it to the source.

Installation:

We have designed a new accessory product for the DVIFIX which is programmable with a SingleEDID but not having any controls or HDCP compatibility. It will work will with PCs with VGA or DVI outputs.
